Перед тем как исполнить мою заявку в Лондоне, EBS посмотрит цены в Нью-Йорке и Токио - жесть !Вот еще важный момент, откуда могут идти задержки в ЕБС:

Its important to be aware of EBS' multi-matching-engine architecture, especially if you plan on trading across US, London and Tokyo sessions. Essentially, they have a matching engine in NYC (proximity host at Equinix NY4), London (proximity host at Equinix LD4) and Tokyo (proximity host at KVH) . . . all of the matching engines are independent, but attempt to update one another when the book is modified. Here's a simple example: Lets say all matching engines are currently in sync and the market is 100-102. I improve the bid in NY to 101, NY updates LN and TY to 101-102. Some guy in tokyo, tries to hit the 101 bid . . . EBS will first check the NY matching engine to confirm that the order is still there (ie. I haven't canceled it or it hasn't been dealt on by somebody else). If it is still there, a trade will be executed and distributed to the counterparties. I guess for primarily liquidity-providing strategies, this example isn't as relevant but it its still important to understand this process when deciding which location to run your strategy out of.
ПыСы: что там за "спецы" сидят на форуме...
